Hundreds of people were stranded on British Columbia’s Sea-to-Sky Highway overnight, where a motorcycle crash left one woman dead and prompted a lengthy closure.
“There are strict rules in this province regarding police pursuits and yes, even the RCMP have to follow those rules even though it’s a provincial statute… But they should have had crews come in or removed the centre barriers so people could turn around and get out of there. Absolutely woeful display in having that much gridlock and it starts with the RCMP…”
